She completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Guwahati Medical College and earned her DNB after advanced training at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. She has also worked in the Department of High-Risk Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at AIIMS and completed three years of Senior Residency with teaching responsibilities at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
